The Portes du Soleil is a French - Swiss ski and biking area comprising 12 resorts on the slopes of the Chablais massif. It is considered to be one of the largest ski and biking areas in the world and is spread over the Val d'Abondance, the Vallée d'Aulps, the Val d'Illiez and the Val de Morgins.
It includes more than 600 km of slopes, 208 ski lifts for 291 slopes, 30 special fun areas and snow parks, 22 mountain bike lifts and 5 bike parks....... all across 2 countries and under 1 ski pass! The resorts and trails are located at an altitude of between 900 and 2,466 meters.
You can ski, snowboard, walk, hike, cross-country, enduro and downhill mountain bike. Why not rub shoulders with the beautiful herds in the alpine pastures by taking the accessible trails and wide paths. Les Portes du Soleil has such quantity and variety of slopes and trails, it really does leave you dreaming!
